I am using Javascript and CCS.
I need to be able to reset a control value when the user returns to a previous page.
IE:
page2 page3
species 1 specimen1
species 1 specimen2
species 2 specimen1

Try using JavaScript onLoad: http://www.google.com/search?q=javascript+onload+reset
Or disable caching of the page, possibly by adding:
<META HTTP-EQUIV="Pragma" CONTENT="no-cache">
or see http://www.google.com/search?q=html+disable+cache

I am only tring to clear the specimen value not the species value.
So resetting is not the way to go.

Then JavaScript should be great for this.
I don't program in JavaScript myself but usually find all the code on Google.
Of course I see many JavaScript experts on this forum and someone else may be able to help.
Our support could also be helpful - when submitting a request just please state that you specifically want to change a field's/control's value (or provide other details) in OnLoad JavaScript event.
