Hi,

I'm just starting to use CCS 2.2 and just seem not able to get this to work.

Using the Application Builder I create a page on a table in an Oracle 8i database. I leave all settings at their default, except for the "Alterante Records" checkbox in the Grid settings, which I check.

If I then run this form, the search fields are shown and the grid with data is also shown. However, If I then click on a column heading to sort the grid, I get the following error message:

ORA-00960: ambiguous column naming in select list
Query :"SELECT ACCOUNTCODE, ELMCODE2, ELMCODE4, ELMCODE5, ACCOUNTCODE, ELMCODE2, ELMCODE4, ELMCODE5 FROM DOC_AC_ELEMENT245 ORDER BY ACCOUNTCODE"

Somehow, CCS tries to include all column names twice in the SQL statement.

If I do not check the "Alternate Records" checkbox, the form seems to work find.

Am I doing something wrong or am I hitting a bug in CCS 2.2?

Hope someone can help,
Wilfred

I saw this problem a few versions ago with double listing of values but it didn't cause a problem. I personally don't use the application builder but what happens when you try just using the grid or record builder. I haven't had this problem in asp.net or cold fusion.

Please also check if "Oracle" is selected as your database in both the Design and Server Connection setings. If this looks OK, then we may have a bug and I recommend contacting our support.
