I was trying to use the tutorial to learn how to use CodeCharge Studio and when I tried the Live Page tab, I get the following error:

Please submit .NET questions to our .NET forum.
Generally looks like you didn't create the Web/Virtual Directory in IIS: http://support.codecharge.com/kb_article.asp?article_id=29

I got most of the probelm resolved through tech support. But they say I need to ctreat a virtual directory on my local web server. I am using Windows XP Pro SP 1 with the standard IIS that comes with it. I do not know how to set up a virtual directory on it. Does anyone know how to accomplish this task? I read all the literature and still can not find out how to do it.

If I understand the problem correctly, I think this is the fix:
Under Administrative Toos, bring up the Internet Informaton Services tool.
Drill down into your computer's default web site (under web sites). Right click on the folder for the site and go to properties.
By Application name click apply. The default application name will be your directory name. When you click OK, the folder icon in the IIS manager tool will change from a folder to a web site icon.

By Application name click Create... NOT apply.
Sorry

cpopham,
The link that I provided above describes how to create Virtual Directory.
This didn't work for you?

I am still having a few issues. I created the Virtual Directory just like the MSDN web site said. Under CCS I did everything the prerequisites said. By making my directory that the virtual directory points to the web directory and still getting the error when I try the live page tab.

Questions:
1. Is the error message the same as previously?
(Source File: c:\inetpub\wwwroot\TaskManager\tasks_list.aspx Line: 2) ?
2. What is the URL that you are trynig to access?
3. When you open the properties of your Virtual Directory in IIS, what is the "Local Path" in the "Virtual Directory" tab? BTW, do you have the "Virtual Directory" tab there?
