I have a grid to display table content. one of the field fld1 contains value
such as @@A, @@B. What I want to display in the grid is on A, B etc.

How do I do this in my asp/mysql.

If the values are retrieved directly from DB, then you can simply select the appropriate data source column for your "fld1". If you are getting the values after some processing you may use one of the events either at page level, or at grid level or at row level or even at FIELD level which ever is appropriate.

Actually the value @@A is from database, but what I want to display is A
only. Sometime there is @ A. Can we use js function to do it. If so which
one?
