I'm generating coldfusion files. When publishing files, it's not generating the common files. This is the error:
Generating Common Files
Error:Please specify server connection in Project Settings.
Publishing to "C:\CFusionMX\wwwroot\TMS"
If the "server connection" refers to the server path(C:\CFusionMX\wwwroot), then I'm stumped.
The only reference to a similar problem involved unregistering and registering the msxml3.dll. I was unable to unregister the .dll with the supplied command, however, the register command worked. I tried that -- that didn't solve the problem.
Thanks

Click on Project settings, then connection, modify, server. Sounds like you have the design mode set up but not the server side connection information.

Don,
I selected: use connection string:
Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;User ID=Admin;Data Source=C:\Program Files\CodeChargeStudio\Projects\TMS\Intranet.mdb;Persist Security Info=False
and tested the connection, which succeded. Is that right? It seems to be generating the files OK.
Thanks for your help.

There is no way to test the Server connection in CCS when using ColdFusion. You can only test the Design connection.
Therefore as Don mentioned please click on Project settings, then connection, modify, server.
Your Design connection is already configured OK and tested, but the ColdFusion programs also need to know which connection to use. They cannot use a connection string.
