Hello,

I am trying to change the text of a label to either at open Table Row or Close Table Row upon certain criteria. The problem I am having is when, in the BeforeRow event, I try to assign it to an object, it gives me the ubiquitous error of "Object not set to an instance of Object". Any ideas on this one?

Thanks in advance,

Ed

You may be referring to the control incorrectly, therefore you may want to use the FindControl method in .NET.
You can also look at the generated code where the "Before Show" event of the control is invoked by the grid.
Otherwise you can contact our support as they may need more details (or take a look at your page) to best address your question.

Thanks Peter,

I figured it out shortly after I posted the reply. I was not creating the reference to the object correctly (as you stated).

Thanks for your quick response.
