:-( I downloaded and installed 2.2.3.60 for the File Upload (FU) security fix and then regenerated my project. I changed the allowed mask to *.jpg;*.gif; but I get "The file type specified in field File Upload is not allowed." error
I tried the old mask but that didn't help...

:-D
CCS support sent this fix:
Please make sure that common and classes files are regenerated.
1. open Common.php
2. check if there’s modified code (it is highlighted in white). If there’s a one, please back up it;
3. then select all the code in Code editor and delete it (do even if you do not find the modified code snippets);
4. follow the same procedure for the Classes file.
5. regenerate the project and test it.

I did it and it worked, had to put my function back into Common.php
