"and" condition in "where"

Hi,
How can i "forced" a where statement to consider both condition as one
example:

SELECT *
FROM Info_EProcesos
WHERE date1 >= '{starting_date}'
AND date2 <= '{starting_date}'

I have a form, where the user choose 2 dates, and in the results grid, I
need to show te field between those 2 dates ( from Date1 to Date2)
