My problem:
When I use the updateable datagrid in CC the following happens.
When the user submit the form the whole dataset gets updated. (Every row
gets submitted to the database regardless if the data changed or not.) In
normal circumstances this would not bother me, but I have a field
"DateUpdated" which show the date and time the record was last updated. Now
because the whole grid gets updated this value change for all records.
Is there any other type of datagrid that i can use, or can I only update
rows that was actually edited?
I am using vb.net

How is the column DateUpdated change its values?
You might have that colunm changed its value by the triggers. If it is the
case then modify your trigger to only update that column if there is a
change in the update. It can be done by comparing the old and the new value
of each columns that you are updating
