I am getting the following error:

Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80040e14'
Duplicate output alias 'h_headlineID'.
/asp/Common.asp, line 34

I can't figure out what is causing it. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Possibly you are using an SQL or visual query that tries to retrieve the same field twice. Please check the Data Source for all forms on the page where this error happens.

tamac

I have found that the problem is caused in the following example.

I have an Access database with a table which shows communications lines between different locations and a few other details.

eg. tblCommsLines

Concentrating on the locations. These are two columns in the table, however data is pulled into these columns from another table
eg. tblLocations

This table is listed such as this

1 | Location A
2 | Location B

In the tblCommsLines table it will present data such as this

2MB line | Location A | Location B | "notes"

This works perfectly fine as intended in the database itself however when attempting to view this on the CodeCharge created web front-end to this table, the following error occurs

Error: [Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Duplicate output alias 'tblLocation_LocationName'. (Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers)

I am putting a request through to CodeCharge support and if a resolution is reached I shall post it as I'm sure a couple other people may experience the same issue.

Thanks

Cheers

Issue resolved with help from CodeCharge Support. Cheers 8-)

"Try opening your Data Source property dialog ('...' button), the open Visual Query Builder (Build... button). Now you should see your tables joined. Right-clicking you should be able to redefine aliases for your location tables and their fields.

If you have problems resolving this problems send us your page (.ccp, _events, .html files) and project file (.ccs) tosupport@codecharge.com and notify us here.

Best regards,
Chris "
