Can anyone help?

I have 3 text boxes.
The value in the 3rd textbox is dependant on the value
of the 1st and 2nd textbox.

I need to lookup a table to determine the value of the 3rd
text boxes. How do I go about in doing it?
What kind of elements is more appropriate? (button, link etc)
