Is it possible to have CodeCharge publish the HTML files with a .htm file extension instead for the default .html?

In CCS, when I go to PROJECT > SETTINGS > PUBLISHING tab > FILES TO PUBLISH; there are three choices:
1) Project Files
2) All Files With Extensions
3) All Files Excluding Extension
The default is All Files With Extensions. Chaning .html to .htm does not publish files in .htm extension
I do not see a way to change the extension from .html to .htm other than that. I seen no documentation in help files, FAQ or tutoirals on this subject.

This worked OK for me. I created a test.htm file, changed "html" to "htm" in "Files to Publish" and next time when I clicked on any Live Page I could find my test.htm file on my server.
I wouldn't change "html" to "htm" though but add "htm" as an additional extension. CCS utilizes .html files and they are needed on your server as well.
If you're experiencing technical difficulties you may consider contacting CCS support at http://support.codecharge.com.

I just realize that possibly you don't want to just publish .htm files but also use them in CCS instead of html?
If so, currently there is no such functionality in CCS.

Not working for me. I'm running Windows XP Pro with IIS. When I publish my tutorial Form site; it publishes .html extensions. If I change .html to .htm it does not publish the html files, only .asp files. If i add .htm in front of .html, it publishes the files in .html.

Yes, this is correct behavior. If you do not have any .htm files in your project folder then this is exactly how it will and should work. Please also see my last previous response in case you missed it.

Microsoft's extension is .htm. I've used FrontPage since v1.1. But I've never learned ASP. Now, I want to use databases and that is the reason for using CCS. Like FrontPage I need a GUI to do the brunt of the coding while I learn the theory.
Now there are times that FrontPage gets in my way becase it wants to re-code some of my hand code, but I know the interface pretty well and it is easy for me to use.
I believe that having a mixture of .htm and .html pages in the same web is going to be messy with FrontPage. Especaily since FrontPage does not like the .html extension. I downloaded CCS because it was suppose to integrate into FrontPage. Right now, I don't see it.

1. CodeCharge Studio uses the standard, widely used and accepted HTML extension, which is .html

2. It is not true that Microsoft's extension is .htm, although they often use it. Here are some URLs off Microsoft Website that end with .html:
http://research.microsoft.com/~bolosky/papers/MSManners/MSManners.html
http://discuss.microsoft.com/archives/cifs.html

3. FrontPage supports and works with .html files. Here is the response from a Microsoft MVP:
http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&selm...s.microsoft.com
"When saving the file, add the L."

4. You are not the first person who may use CodeCharge Studio with FrontPage. What sense would it make to create a FrontPage Add-In that doesn't work with FrontPage?

5. You don't even need to know what the file extension is (.htm or .html) when working with CCS and FrontPage. I don't understand why the file extension is so important to you when CCS works just fine with FrontPage.

6. I use FrontPage with .html extension. I'm assuming that so do all of the CCS users who use FrontPage.
I also use FrontPage with .html extension when not working with CCS.

I could go on but maybe it would be better if you try to describe the actual problem, errors, etc. Then we can try to help.
