Hopefully this is in the correct forum. When I create a table with
the grid builder and apply a style to it then at a later time I
insert a new column how do I apply the same style to that new
inserted column?

The style should populate by itself. Unless you are editing the HTML directly which is the hard way of getting it done.
There is a button for inserting new columns in a grid that will get the job done and apply the correct styles in the process.
