I would like to set the "Secured Server URL" property and the "SSL Access Only" Page property so that when a user clicks on a link to the "SSL only" page the URL is changed to https.
Is this how these properties work?
If so where is the "Secured Server URL" property set
Help indicates that it is in the Project Settings (see below) but I can't find it there in CCS
============================================
Project Reference Help
Properties
Secured Server URL
Specify the SSL HTTP URL to be used to access the published pages. This option is only used if you want to access the pages over a SSL connection and the server you are using supports SSL.

This property can be found in the Properties panel after clicking on the project name in the Project Explorer panel.

I've tried but can't get this to work. I have a page "addrecords.ccp" in my application (using jsp) that is restricted to certain groups. It has the "Access Denied Page" set to "noaccess.ccp" and "Convert URL to" set to "SSL". I have also set "Secure Server URL" to "https://www.company.com".
If the user is not a member of one of the allowed groups, it goes to "noaccess" but without https. Do I need to do anything else to get this to work?
My next question is can the Login page be set so it is always called via https? So when a user is not logged in and is required to log in, the password will be encrypted.
thanks, Voya

ok found answer to making Login always https - in Project settings -> security, but still doesn't work. Only comes up as http.
I know my server is set up correct because when I manually type https... it works just fine.
thx

Hello,
set "SSL Access Only" property of noaccess page to Yes, and set "Convert URL To" property to SSL. The same concerns Login page.

Did that. Now I just get "SSL connection error. This page can be accessed only via secured connection." on both noaccess and login pages.
The instructions seem to imply that Convert URL to SSL should be set in the calling page (addrecords) rather than the called page (noaccess).
Doesn't work either way

Sorry about this - there is one more step that may not be too clear. You will need to specify "Secure Server URL" in project properties. Click on your project name in the Project Explorer panel, then look at the properties panel. That URL should be similar to your "Server URL" in the Project Settings, except for starting with "https://".

Oh, if that doesn't work then how are you invoking the page that you want to be secure? Pages will not convert themselves automatically from http to https so you will need to direct users directly to https pages instead of http. This is done automatically only for Access Denied page - so is that what doesn't work for you?

Yes that's what doesn't work... I'm using jsp.
Also notice that in the docs it says I can specify how the user id is stored (session/cookie/url) but I can't find that anywhere. Is this available in jsp? I'm using ccs v2.3.2.26.

This should work. In this case I can only recommend that you contact the support.
