How does the Convert URL To property work?

Env: PHP

Editable grid and record on a web page
Convert URL To: SSL

Link to the web page but the URL does not change to https://.
SSL is configured on the server.
===============================================
Convert URL To

Specify whether the URL should be converted to an absolute URL or a secure (https://) URL.

If it's a link than you'd need to set this property for the link.
If this doesn't work for you, may I ask which version of CCS are you using?

Oh, and the Secure Server URL property would need to be specified in the project properties.

Version CCS 2.2.3.60

What does the Convert URL To property do?

Which URL is converted?

Is there comprehensive documentation, with a sample project, on how to implement SSL in CCS?

Do you mean Settings... on the Project menu,

because I can't find "project properties" or the "Secure Server URL" property

The "Convert URL To" property converts the URL of the current component to the format specified. If you specify SSL then you will need to provide the base SSL URL in the "Secure Server URL" property, which is similar to the "Sever URL" setting in project settings.
I believe that here is no comprehensive documentation as there is nothing really to document. There are no differences in the applications or examples whether the regular or SSL URLs are used. Once you change one component (link, grid, etc.) to utilize SSL format than all others could be changed in the same way. We haven't seen any requests to document SSL in more detail but if we see many people requesting it then of course it could be considered. You can submit suggestions, questions and help requests to our support.
FYI, I tried to answer your initial question as any other user would but I am not supposed to provide support via user forums therefore if you have questions for YesSoftware please contact us directly at the link shown below. Thank you for your understanding.

The "Secure Server URL" property can be found in the Properties panel after clicking on the project name in the Project Explorer panel. I hope that this was the only problem you had :-) Once set like to a value like "https://www.website.com" everything should work.
