Need to know how to force download when Record has been INSERTED when user requests for application download.
Page=File.asp, form=downloads
Table:Downloads
app_id
download_id
user_id
date_posted.
Apps TABLE:
app_id
app_url
etc

Not sure if this would work, but its an idea...
On the page that does the insert, you could set the return page to another page that has some javascript in it. If you leave preserve parameters on, you should be able to test the query string with javascript, or if you're up to in, in ASP to see if the download is requested. If it is just do a javascript style redirect to the filename and it should download.
