I have a record that updates items accomplished during the day. When a user searches on his name it lists the items entered and totals the hours. I need for them to perform a search on their data when they fist enter the page - no records for that day will be shown if they are entering for the first time for that day - otherwise a list of items that were entered that day will be shown.

Is there a way to have the name entered automatically and a search executed?
