Greetings,

I'm currently working with the 3.2.8 tutorial and want to populate the last column (user_id_assigned_to) with real values, which should be employee names (emp_id, I believe). So I need to create a join but using the VQB I cannot quickly see how to make this join happen, as the Employee table and the Tasks table do not share the same values to make the join work.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Thanks, Lurch

Hi,
The relationships are shown at http://docs.codecharge.com/studio/html/QuickStart/Creat...citRelship.html and you can use VQB to join the fields in exactly the same way. user_id_assign_to should be joined with emp_id.
