Hello Forum,
i created a webpage with the typical header (include) main page und footer(include). After i finished the work, i changed the css. My new style sheet has a colored background, and now it happened, that my background disappear, and i got a white background (the perv background was white too).
Any idea, why this happens?
Best regards
Peter

Make sure your included pages do not have a white background on them. It could be possible that you are inheriting a style from the included pages.

Check the <Body> tag. This will have a background.gif and/or color
definition. You may not have published the background image or the color
may not be what you expected. I'm not sure that the color will get updated
when the theme is changed - only the named class attributes (I'm just
guessing, but seem to recall encountering this). Vaguely recall that the
<Body> color only changed when I next created a page under the new theme.
