Tyring to develope a simple application which for the mos part involves maintenance of various tables in SQL Server. Have started with one of the tables and trying to get a form to be created automatically which handles insertion of new records, deleting records and modifying records. Want 1 record per page to be displayed since I am using the columnar format. Have created the form 20 different ways and can not get the insertion to work at all. Assumed that we will have a button at the bottom for clearing the form and setting it up for insertion of a new record into the database. Again this is a very simple requirement and I have not found the right combination of options in the Editable Grid Builder to get this to work. Please provide me with list of options to pick in the wizard. In the allow
insertion I have picked from 0-3 empty records.
For a professional looking application the spreadsheet format is simply not acceptable in most cases, I don't know if things will work if I pick this format. Any thoughts will be appreciated. Starting to use the form builder but I was hoping not to have to created everything about a form manually for each and every table.
