I would like to get an idea of which environment to program an intranet application with for one of my clients. (i.e. ASP, PHP, .NET)

The application is currently written in ASP with Templates which produces some errors with clients usnig proxy servers and cache settings.

Any environment should be OK and every person may give you a different answer.
But why replace the car when you get flat tire? :-)
I would recommend resolving the errors rather than changing the technology.
