I have been re-working my applications with CCS and I am able to
insert and update information from the database, however everytime I
create a delete record builder, I get the delete confirmation box but
the record does not get deleted.
I have this grid head back to the calling grid builder which shows
all records within the database. Anyone have reources on how to get
this to work.

I've nto had that problem but when I do run into these issues, I do a cfoutput of the sql string for the delete followed by a cfabort so the info is displayed to me.
