Hi,
After trying unsucsessfully to remove a "spyware" which I did not know that was running on my machine, my computer stopped working properly. I ended up discovering that this program ("webhancer", or should it be called "webcancer"?...) took control of my TCP/IP stack, so that reinstalling it was the only way I could get the computer to start functioning well again...
I ended up deciding for reinstalling the whole system (Win XP and everything else) and started using a tool to protect me better against these undesired spywares which are now proliferating through the Internet.
I was running version 2.2.3.60 and decided to go for the newest 2.3 version.
But after informing my serial# and proceeding with setup, CCS then asks for a file named "layout.bin" under "Disk 1" directory. The file is not there and the setup then gets stuck (neither OK nor CANCEL works to get pass this screen, and I endup having to kill the setup process).
Any hints about this problem? Would my setup only work if I had the previous version installed on my system???
TIA,
Paulo

Got it with the help from support! I downloaded CCS version from the news/updates page, and apparently the version I should have downloaded was the "full" version from the download page, which probably does not have any dependency on previously expected files.
