I have made sure that
a) the tools>options>path is directed to C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322
b) project>properties>target version is 1.1
c) I have aspnet_regiis -ua (after that -i and -ir) to remove all previous instance of previous versions

I tried to compile it and it gives me this error:
C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.0.3705\csc /w:2 /t:library /out:bin\onlinereports.dll /debug:full /r:System.dll;System.Web.dll;System.Xml.dll;System.Data.dll /recurse:*.cs /codepage:28591

'C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.0.3705\csc' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

As you can see it is going to C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.0.3705 and not 1.1.4.x.

I checked the makeall.bat in my directories and it show 1.03705. I tried changing it to 1.1.4x and after publishing - it goes back to 1.037x.

Any thoughts?

Hello,

Did you remove Framework 1.0 from Add/Remove Programs also?

Regards,

Frank

I finally got it working. Here is what I did:
I completely deleted (selectall+delete) the makefile.bat within the studio. After that, I recompiled with all my options correct - and it worked fine.

Frank - your advise is also good to make sure all previous versions are out
Thanks

Have you changed your project settings to use .NET Framework 1.1?

Select your Project in the 'Explorer' window. Then...change the project's 'Target Version' to 1.1, in the 'Properties' window.
