I'm trying to generate the TaskManager tutorial with VB .Net (and IIS 5, WinXP). I've specified the Task Manager folder as a virtual directory, as required with .net. When I go to the live page, it says the page cannot be found. I can browse the page in IIS, but it simply displays the asp code in tasklist.aspx instead of the actual page. There are no error messages in the build.

I'm new to CodeCharge as well as web development in general. Any help appreciated.

ps. I have made the HelloWorld app OK. Seems as if anytime I try to define a data connection, or use vb.net, I have this same problem.

Thanks.

Thanks.
I rather meant your own internal URL, but this is OK.
I wasn't sure if you had IIS installed.
Looks like IIS is working, but possibly you didn't install ASP.Net on the Web server.
Take a look at http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&thre...t%3D20%26sa%3DN

Wonderful. There are still some weird symptoms (I can't view the live page, gets "Server Resource unavailable")...can't browse the default site, or wwwroot, but I *can* browse the virtual directory, and I can connect and browse from a remote browser. Puts me a lot further down the road.

I'll spend some time digging a little before I ask any more questions (third 2am in a row...think I'll go have some pleasant dreamsO:)

Thanks a lot.
