I'm curious,

I have intermediate experience creating oop-style classes using PHP, so I'm not not looking for a turorial on that, however I was wondering if there was a way (or if someone already has done it) to extend out the classes built by CCS to perform various form validations such as:

validating passwords,
validating usernames,
validating form fields,
etc., etc...

I already have many custom functions that perform various validation routines, (mainly dealing with password complexity rules). Since re-usable code is one of the points of creating classes, am looking to customize and centralize my functions/methods for usage on ANY form that I build using CCS. Maybe this post should go to the Wishes Forum instead, but I thought I would try here anyway. I am already building the class now, however the only issue I a am running into at this point is pushing the error messages back up into the Form Class built by CCS. This, I believe is required for the error to show up on the page.

Thanks and Regards,
George

it would be an interessting approach to let a UML tool analyse the CCS classes... because there is much XML in CSS itself and the classes also seem like done by a UML like tool.

if i have holyday from work i will give POSEIDON UML tool a try looking at CCS.
if CSS can be recognised well by an UML tool you can do dreamlike things like custom builders and customforms and custom actions and much much more in notime....
