Hello,

i'm working on a application for people here in germany. so we want to use the european dateformat (dd.mm.yyyy) everything works fine, but if i want to build a search form where the date input box is in the european dateformat and try to submit i get an error:

the value in the field urls_Sende_Datum is not valid. Use the following Format: GeneralDate. (29.03.2004)

Is there any workaround?

Regards

Stefan

Stefan,
Please check the settings of s_Sende_Datum WHERE parameter under Grid’s Data Source dialog.
E.g.
Field
Name: DateFieldName
Type: Date
Format: select/type in the date format in which date are actually stored in a table. E.g.: dd/mm/yyyy
Operation: =
Parameter Source
Name: s_Sende_Datum
Type: URL
Format: select/type in the format in which date is passed via URL. E.g: m/d/yy
If you set Default Value make sure that its format is the same as Format property of s_Sende_Datum field on a Search form
