I found the post that explained setting up the connection to the MySQL database instead of using the default intranet connection in CCS and after following those instructions, testing the connection succeeded. My problem now, however, is that when I go through the tutorial, when I get to the first setup screen where I tick the User Authentication box, all of the fields are empty. I tried filling those in manually with the information on the tutorial page but then on the next screen, there are no tables.
The first time I tried the tutorial I used the intranet connection as the directions suggested and got all of the way through to testing the live page and everything was created and filled in just as the screen-shots in the tutorial indicated they should be. The problem only surfaced when I corrected the problem of the "no database connection" error on the live page.
I tried deleting the project folder for this project and starting over from scratch but everything remains empty. Is this because I am using PHP 5? I
Sorry but do not have a URL to post since this is on an intranet test server. Any advice or help on this would be greatly appreciated because I'm stuck here and fresh out of ideas.
Cheers,

most probably you haven’t configured the server side connection. Please refer to CCS Help or online documentation regarding configuring connection to MySQL database:
User’s Guide -> Working with Projects -> Connecting to Databases -> Configuring the Server-Side Database Connection

Nichole,
Thanks for the reply but unless I misunderstand your post, you missed the first part of mine where I said that I read the post on configuring the connection to the MySQL server and followed that. post's instructions. When I did a test, the test said the connection was successful so it didn't appear to me that this was the problem.
Cheers,
Stretchr
