What's wrong with this code:

if ($fldstatus < "5") {
$fldstatus = "<font style='font-size: 10px; color: #FA310E; font-weight: normal;'>" .$fldstatus. "</font>";
}
else {
$fldstatus = $fldstatus;
}

Peter,
please check that HTML property of status field is enabled. If it’s no an issue please elaborate what is the problem.
