I´ve searched the web for this, and found good free scripts (most for linux), one of them was html_ToPDF, anyone has port it to windows?

There´s something like this (free) for windows?

where can I find CCS samples?

Ricky,
I'm working on 2 large web projects that will allow customers to generate PDF cards, brochures & such on the web server.
I have collected information on 16-20 PDF scripts and components & I must say that all of free PDF scripts were not good enough (fast, reliable, easy to use & doing what I wanted).
I ended up with buying and installing aspPDF component because it is reasonably priced ($299) and it can work with existing PDFs created with any software. It works very good for me.
I was thinking of using PDFlib & PHP but it has no real advantage over aspPDF for my purpose and as it turned out PDFlib is not free - you pay $500 - 600 for business use.

I found neevia docConverter, its fine to me because I dont have to modify my reports, just add a link to the page, and thats all. But it cost a litle more, around $340.
there´s a try out version...

I think that aspEasyPDF can do the same with its addHTML method for much less money -www.mitdata.com

Thanks I will evaluate it....

are you Spanish speaking - I´ve found a lot of "spanish names" in the forum, but no "spanish speaking" rooms.

My english is enough, at least, to understand the Topics of the forum, I was thinking in translating the CCS manual (planning to teach CSS)

What you think...?

Saw the good reviews on MITdata and purchased first their VisualEasyPdf and now their AspEasyPdf products. Having a hard time making it all work and wondering if anyone here would be willing to help us make it work. Created a simple pdf and tried to make it read just "one" field but nothing seems to work right. Installed their AspEasyPdf on our IIS server but again nothing seems to run. We are a bit stumped even with our SQL connection strings. To be honest we are not "super" savvy on Sql since we are more a network centric shop but have a small app running with CodeCharge and would like to create pdf documents with the MITdata environment.

Any suggestions \ takers? Please reply with contact info so we may make further pricing \ work arrangements.

rgds,
Erwin

Hi Erwin,
have you contacted John - the developer of AspEasyPDF?
he used to answer pretty fast
...but this is strange.
I have tried his components several months go and everything was working very smoothly.

If he will not be able to help let me know in more details what you are trying to do and how.

Actually, the adobe SDK is free from adobe. There are 2 downsides to it, the first is that it is shipped (FREE) from UPS but it takes about 2 weeks, the second down side is that it has a bit of a learning curve. Oh yeah, you also have to have Adobe Acrobat too.

Here is the link to get it:

Hi Georges;
thank you very much for your reply. Yes, We did contact John @ MITData and basically begged for help. He did indicate that they where swamped but would help us to make sure that the aspEasyPDF component is actually running on our IIS is working etc. We can create a PDF doc with their VisualEasyPDF which is very simple. It even post's correctly to the Server but then we get errors and cannot pass "one" variable which we introduced into the Pdf doc just to see it work before we go nuts creating more complex Pdf docs and fetching data from the server. Could even be that our Sql string is wrong? We did give them per their request PcAnywhere IP connection and other items so they may check everything out remotely but so far have not heard anything. They are in Spain and we are in New Orleans so a bit of a time delay.

Are you a consultant? I have been searching a few names here and Insight Consulting and a GoToDon (?) come up but was trying to give MITData the courtesy of some time since they are the developer and we just need to see their product work (I am sure it does) eventhough I am pressed to make this work.

Love CodeCharge but would like to add some more functionality to our small app like Pdf docs with MITData and some AspEmail type functionality. I can be reachedsupport@melcogroup.com if you are in USA and can \ are willing to help - discuss our requirements?

thank you & brgds,
Erwin
