The default search for CCS is a single LIKE clause. I am attempting to implement a more complex search that creates a separate LIKE for each word in the user's search string. How do I stuff my search string into the system? Per the help file I've tried creating a BeforeBuildSelect and doing this:

((TableCommand)Select).Where = MyCustomClause;

If MyCustomClause contains a value at the first page load, it works. But subsequent searches do not work. I suspect it's somehow adding the default clause to mine. Any ideas on how to make this work?

thanks,
gary
