I want a way to only display todays invoices only. So i need a way to set the default grid results to display invoices with invoice date on today,

I am looking for something similar, I have a grid that sums one of the columns. It is a result from a search form. The initial grid is invisible because by default it shows all records onload - and I needed to seach only TODAY and by user. The complaint from users is that they have to perform a search to show any results even though they have no data for the day yet.
The user name is populated from the user session and the date is hidden and defaults to today, but if I do a Search on page load I get a search, page load, search, page load.....it loops.??
