I am using cc asp/vbScript
When making changes to my catalogue the item when updated should stay on the page and not disappear back into the catalog.
The edit and record grids are on the same page.
In other words I what to see if it updated ok, instead of having to search for it.
please help.

make sure 'transfer' check box is checked in record form input parameters

It works when I insert a new item in the catalog(It shows at the top of the page).
But its when I edit an item already in the catalog, I need it so when I click update the item shows at the top of the grid.

Ensure the grid is sorted in descending order by something (primary key that
autoincremented, or date of creation, etc). That will put the newest record
at the top of the grid.
