Hi, I have done a grid and it is working fine, now I need to insert it as a module into another application not created with CC...
the main application already uses other modules like phpadsnew and a cms, and I need my grid showing in the same page.... Any suggestions?

Hi Natalia,
i never try myself to include a piece of CCS into another app, but i am 99% sure here is what you need to read and use
http://de3.php.net/manual/en/function.include.php
try it with the include() php function it should work

I tried your way but I get
Warning: .\Common.php línea 9 - session_start(): Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at dir.php:4)
And nothint else is showing.

hi Natalia.
thats because the session is already up
the other application started it and/or the calls are on wrong positions. you have to change
the files to not run session twice and run them at absolute beginning of the script(s), its not so easy to bring 2
applications together, i am personally use to integrate
"other applications/scripts" into CSS not CSS-files into other applications(wich is the SAME) with some changes in your "other app" it can and will run, but to do this, sorry i have to say that, you need a strong knowledge of sessionhandling in php, if you want i take a look onto your project
and try to integrate both ,your CCS and the other app together so the
grid you told is displayed and working where you want it to be.
again, such things are more advanced, high level programming issues.
this things are not for beginners (sorry but its the truth)
look here: http://forums.codecharge.com/posts.php?post_id=51109&s_keyword=
i helped this guy, however his site is off because he left for army, but i CAN help and i can help you.
the problems you have with your app are to complex to be solved here via this forum, need to see code, best would be ALL code that is involved.

I have tried to check if the session already exists but had no luck that way, instead I have found this possible hack and seems to be working , or at least that is what I think. :)
I have placed this line before including the CCS file....
error_reporting(1);

this just turns off throwing non-fatal errormessages.
if your application works this way you may give it a try, but
i personaly think this "solution" is not good, its like this bird who stick his head into the sand "if i dont see the problem it is not there".
i just can tell you , that wild and crazy things CAN happen in a php-script if you deal "wrong" with session related things. test your app and try if values are set/work correct and if so , go the way with the error_reporting(1).
But for sure you would not get a graduate for this at the MIT
