I'm trying to have my pages validated, and I found that CCS pages
doesn't pass mainly for two reasons:
- "img" don't have a default "alt" tags (sorters for example)
- links use & instead of &
Any experience on that?

To me, a page is "validated" when it appears and behaves as expected.
I don't thing CCS pages will adhere to validation for several reasons,
including the ones you mentioned, but why is this a problem for you?
Just curious.

In a world where most of the dummies, sorry I mean the users, are
browsing with a "brain dead" browser, it appears very important to be
able to say "yes, I'm compliant with the standards". How could you be
sure a page appears and behaves as expected with so many bugs in IE?
Being W3C compliant is not a lot of work for the CCS team, and could be
a good argument.
I'm working on it, I'll release a patch when it's ready.
