Im having a problem with a editablegrid. I need to have a hidden filed "HID" - If i choose the field as an label it works fine - but if i change it to a hidden field the values disapears 
Its not only that field any hidden field will have no value in the value field.
Any one who seen that problem before ?

Something like the opposite is true.
A hidden field will not appear on the surface but will POSTed like a textbox for example.
But maybe a disabled textbox/text field is what you need.
A text field has the property disabled on the format tab of its properties.
