Make sure that your hosting center will allow a remote connection to the
database. Most do not for security reasons.

Typically you develop locally on an XP system with PHPDEV/MySQL installed,
then publish to the remote site and access it there from your web browser.

In this fashion, only LOCALHOST has access to the database (which is fine
after your CCS app/website is uploaded.

However unless your hosting center allows it, you can not publish local and
access a remote database.

Food for thought.

The IP/username/password for a Website is usually different from MySQL (database) username/password, and sometimes the IP. Ask your host specifically for MySQL access information.

This is a Dedicated Box that I have.
I have access to all the resources but I can't find how to connect to a specific MySQL on that box

Then all you need is to select the ODBC connection in CCS:
http://docs.codecharge.com/studio/html/UserGuide/Workin...Connection.html

The IP address and other info needs to be specified in your Windows ODBC/DSN settings, therefore please refer to MySQL ODBC manual if you have problems: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql/en/ODBC_Connector.html.

Please also keep in mind that it is very difficult to analyze issues if you don't post full error messages. "no succes" could mean just about anything.
