I am trying to get the value of a control in a grid to use in custom code. I tried using before show event on the control, but im not appearing to get the value of the control.
The control is a hidden field if that makes a differance.
And i tried retrive value for variable with the sorce as control with no luck.

Is your hidden field tied to a database column and are there column values different from Null or emty for the records in question?
