PHP4/Apache on Windows XP SP3
Using the Taskmanager example in the tutorial:
If I try putting in bill/bill it says "Login or Password incorrect"
Fine. As it should, but...
george/george does not generate any kind of responce nor give me access to admin pages
When I try to access an admin only page such as priorities_list.php the internet browser displays "The page can not be displayed."
Yet the tasks_list.php which is open to all users displays and works just fine.
I can see a session/file created in my C:\Windows\temp directory when I try to login.
What do I have set wrong that I can only see public pages and not admin pages after I complete the login page with correct username & password?

Take a look at the URL.

Something with illegal group there?

If george belongs to group 1 and admin page is for group 2 its possible to face the situation you described when at admin page no "Access Denied Page" is specified.

Reagrds,
Michael

Thanks Micheal for the reply:

Being such an incredible newbie, I had never published all the pages of the project. Once published, it found everything it was looking for. No more "The page can not be displayed" message.

Hope this help another newbie.
