Hi
I've added a new security group using the project properties.
I have also changed the record screen to allow this new group to insert records.
I keep getting illegal group errors.
Do I need to do anything when adding a new group ?

Does the logged in user really belongs to that group with insert rights?

Sorry,
I'm guessing now only.
Acces to the page itself is restricted?!
Is there the right group used?
Is the option Higher Levels inclusive of Lower Level checked?
Maybe some fade out of right due to that?
