I would like to do a check to see if a record exists in a table (IN PHP) using codecharges existing database structures. What is the most efficient way to test of an existance of a record.\

As in check to see if record exists in table names where name = 'foo' and get the count.

Thanks

CCDLoopUp("count(*)", "[yourTable]", "name='foo'", $yourDbConnection);

Michael
