I'm sorry about the topic maibe not appropriate.

Someone could tell me if CCS Magazine is still live?? The issue #3 (October) is missing and anyone replied me from the www.dataobjx.net web site.

YesSoftware advice us with an email and I purchased the issue #2 but after that.... no other sign of life.

Eventually, there is someone able to done the Document Manager project in CCS without the help of the issue #3 of CCS Magazine?

Any help is appreciate.

Thank you,
Ivano

Yes, there is/was a 3rd (October addition). If you give me your email address I will send it to you along with the files that go with it.

BUT - I can not get the doc manager to work! Also, there is a good article on dynamic menu's but the sample app is missing many files. I also email them today and have not, as yet, received a reply.

There is a member here in the forum from dataobjx who respons from time to time. I may try him if no response by Friday.

Let me know if you want the 3rd edition.

Steve

smallboy,

DataObjx has responded to Mr. ICarrara regarding issue #3.

We'd like to make a couple of points here.

1) Regarding Document Manager, we have not received any enquiries regarding problems with Document Manager from you. Perhaps you would be willing to send us an email atadministrator@dataobjx.net

2) We are a new magazine. Every time someone gets the magazine without paying for it, it hurts us and may prevent our ability to continue to produce the magazine!

We cannot prevent this.

So we ask you and the other readers of this post to please respect our fledgling status and ask that you consider the hard work that has gone into the magazine - often at the expense of more profitable projects.

We have tried to price the magazine at a 'no brainer' price considering the code, techniques and so forth contained within each issue.

We would like to continue producing the magazine.

Without the support of this community, DataObjx will not be able to produce the magazine - especially, if the sales are eroded in the way suggested above.

We have asked and continue to ask the CCS community for their requests for 'the types of projects' they'd like to see appear in CCS Developer Magazine and we have made attempts to increase the number of PHP related articles that appear in the magazine.

Perhaps, smallboy - you'd like to supply DataObjx magazine with an article... and - we'd have to tell you.. that we couldn't pay you for it - though we're certain you'd expect it. Does that sound fair?

We're certain that you were simply attempting to help - but please, not at the expense of our sales and continued effort to bring CCS Developer Magazine to this community.

In closing, please email us with regard to the issues you indicate that you are having with Document Manager.

DataObjx has become aware of the mis-spelling of Mr. SMalloy and DataObjx apologizes for the mis-reading and subsequent mis-spelling of the users nickname and intended no derision or otherwise by this error.
