::: JavaScript Events No Longer Working

It happened again ...

I copied a record from from one page to another,
and now the JavaScript events triggered when
fields are changed (onChange()) or when the form
is Submitted (onSubmit()) no longer work.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

It's most likely a syntax error in my HTML, but if anyone
has clues on where to look, I'd appreciate it. :-)

Im not sure if this is the same thing or not -
when I create a grid or label with Custom Code or Event attached to it, and
then I MOVE or COPY the grid/label elsewhere, CCS records the Custome
Code/Event status but doesnt copy the actual code or action.
I dont know if this is by design or not but it confused me at first (still
does sometimes!) as I think that the coe is there but not running, when in
fact the code is actually NOT there.

Yes Damian, you're describing the same problem I've also having.

CCS Tech -

Any ideas you have on how we can easily solve this in
our code WITHOUT rebuilding a data form would be
appreciated. :-)

In this case, I'll have to rebuild the entire form from scratch.

I'm sure CCS is working on this one. :-)

You shouldn't need to rebuild the form, just add or copy those events from the other page. The forms cannot be copied together with events at this time.

When I re-add the events logic from the other form, the events
still do not fire correctly.

My suspicion is there is something in the HTML code that is causing
the problem, but I'm not sure what it is.

You are correct. The reference to 'check_and_bind' got erased.

EVerything's working now. 8-)

Rule of Thumb:
Tinker with the HTML directly, and expect problems. ;-)
