This is a PHP issue / question than codecharge but I know there are people here who are knowledgeable who can help out so I will ask.

I have a problem that right now generates a text file from some database entries which later on need to get printed using the Microsoft Windows Word application.

The database entry is generated using a Textarea and I have used php's wordwrap utility to do the wrapping and auto '\n' insertion. The spacing is correct and looks fine when I view it through Internet Explorer but when I go to Word I start to see funny square characters which must represent something that windows doesn't understand where the newlines that were originally in the text area would be.

How do I get rid of these? I need my text to be formatted like this:

"Some statement about nothing going on several lines

Here is another part spaced away from the previous

an another one here"

Thats pretty much it.

Thanks for any help beforehand.
