I'm currently trying to use a date as primary key, in a database.
When I enter a new row of data the data is entered into the MySQL database correctly, and on the creates lists page the dates show in the table correctly as dd/mm/yyyy put the href hyperlink shows them as yyyy-mm-dd and hence when the page forwards to my editing page I get a date error.
I've set up the appropriate settings in the project settings and for each element in the tables.
Is there away to correct the problem and have the hyper-link uses the english format.
Regards
Brian

For the hyper link, try changing the data type
to 'date' and the data format to: dd/mm/yyyy

1. You may need to specify the DBFormat as well, esoecially if you didn't specify it in the Connection settings.
2. Or, try changing the Data Type to text and then leave Format and DBFormat blank. If this doesn't work please specify what date format do you see when you do this.

Hi,
I've specified the date format for the dB as YYYY/MM/DD and the display format as DD/MM/YYYY. These are also set in the project settings. If I set the data type to Text then the date is Displayed as
YYYY-MM-DD and also the link is YYYY-MM-DD.
I belive there is a problem in the auto generate code somewhere and for the link the data fields are not being reversed.
