Hi
I have specified a unique field in my registration form, but if I submit a new entry, even if it is not yet in the DB I get a SQL error.
Headers already sent
Can someone help?

This error is not related to the Unique property.
The error message should also include the page name and the line number in the code where the problem started.

The message I am getting:
Warning: mysql_close(): 10 is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /usr/www/users/tempst/demo/db_mysql.php on line 378

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /usr/www/users/tempst/demo/db_mysql.php:378) in /usr/www/users/tempst/demo/New_account.php on line 489
Only when unique is selected

Yep, that's where the problem is then, on line 378.
What do you see on that line?

BTW, the error "Cannot modify header information" is not related to the Unique property, but the other error about "mysql_close():" may be. So you have 2 different errors, one could be caused by another.
