I created a record edit page.
This edit page receives parameters a, b, c, d for its fields.
For the "Add" button I put the:
Return Page - mainMenu.ccp
Remove Parameters - a, b, c, d
Now when this "Add" button is clicked the mainMenu page loads
but parameters b,c,d are NOT removed. Why?
Only parameter a is removed. Why?
I thought "Remove Parameters - a, b, c, d" would remove all 4 parameters.
What am I doing wrong?

The documentation and the property comments explain that the parameter list should be semicolon-separated.

That is true.
I did that for this "Add" Button Properties.
Still it did not work.
The only way I got this to work was to change the Record Properties
Remove Parameters a;b;c;d
Why does Remove Parameters work in Record Properties and not Button Properties? There are no other buttons in this form.

If that's true than it could be a bug. You could contact the product support with that.
