I have a form that does Insert operation and has two 'required' field validations.

If the fields are not entered, I get messages: Field x required...this is ok

If however, a dup key value is inserted, I get the error message: The statement has been terminated. Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'whatver'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'blahtable'.

How do I make this last error message to appear more user friendly like "Record already exists, please verify the ID"??

I located where I can change it, I think it is FormAddUserErrorLabel.Text = DefaultMessage. My key question is what event can I use to over-ride the FormAddUserShowErrors() Sub?
Thanks
