Had to do a format of the computer so I lost my ability to connect to the MYSQL server when I reinstalled everything.
I have Apache > MYsql > php installed on a Windows machine ( test server ). I installed the MyODBC so that I can connect to it.
now, Im getting "catastrophic" failiure when i try to connect to the mysql database. from the ODBC i connect fine, but within codecharge it fails.
What am I doing wrong?

Figured it out . I had installed MyODBC 3.51 . So warning to others, THIS HAS PROBLEMS. If you can find MyODBC 2.50 and install this instead.
