 How to make search form for numeric and text fields.

I have build one page which having search and grid on one page.
every thing works fine for numeric keyword. But when I search for
text keyword it gives error " The value in field urls_keyword is not valid.

Please give the solution.

Hello,
You cannot use a single search field for search on different type values. You need to create separate search input fields for Numeric, Text and Date types data. Then modify Where parameters of a grid form accordingly.
